My Angry Thoughts on the FSU Game

For 347th time in a row, a UVA major market sports team had an important game to win - a game that would make their postseason dreams an easy reality - and lost. Instead of shoring things up before the last regular season game, the team lost on senior night in a game they were favored to win.

I'm just going to list everything I have to say about the loss:

-We lost because of more things than officiating - however:
-Mike Scott was getting held every single time we had the ball. Every possession.
-FSU pretty much shoved/held/slapped their way around the defensive half of the court.
-The foul on Akil on Miller's basket of his last run was the worst call of the game. Not only did he not hit him, he didn't even reach. He wasn't even two feet within the guy.
-Harris got shoved to the ground more than once, most importantly during one of our turnovers in the late choke.
-Harris getting kicked wasn't surprising, FSU played that kind of game.
-Sammy threw some god awful passes, the last of which cost us our final possession.
-Wow playing with 6.5 scholarship players really really sucks.
-They play so so so tight and scared when things fall apart with the lead. No one wants to even try a shot but Scott, who's too busy getting held.
-Once again, when the going got tough, UVA missed their open shots and the other team made theirs.
- Mike Scott is awesome.

  1. Call it nostalgia for 1903 JPA, but I couldn’t help wanting a wooden chair to smash…..

  2. Took my agression out on fruit last night. Why can't we close these quality opponents out? Ugh.
