1. Mike Rocco made a few mistakes, but in general I still see him as the best option at QB. He's still quite young and I want to see more deep passes from him, but I think he's the best chance at solid game management for us. London said today that the 2nd interception was actually Kris Burd's fault as he ran the wrong route - so I guess that absolves Mike from that mistake. Here's a great synopsis of Rocco so far.
2. The run defense doesn't seem to have improved much from last year. IU's white RB ran all over us, plus the QB contain was lacking in a big way. This needs to improve ASAP for the Hoos to have a chance at bowling. More Will Hill and Justin Renfrow. Less Nick Jenkins and Matt Conrath.
3. Cam Johnson is a man. He's the man. Don't come into Cam's house and try to take Cam's stuff. Or else this happens:

ReplyDeleteQuick question...The IU game is teh first one I caught and it seemed like it Rocco was playing against 7' defensive line with all of the knockdowns. Is this just Rocco working out some cobwebs, or is this going to be a significant issue this season?
