I love bowl games. Sorry everyone who detests them. I am wholeheartedly in support of a playoff and think it’s really the only way to have a true national championship, but I would also like to see the bowl system stick around for the other 116 teams that don’t make the 4 team playoff. Ideally in my mind there will be 4 super conferences that will submit their champs as the 4 teams in the playoff, after having their own playoff for the conference championship. WHAT A PLAN. Anyway let’s get back to this. The BCS rankings come out after this week so I’m just going to use the AP/Coaches Rankings to do this at this point. Commence gushing.

Let’s take a look at the matchups I would love to see:
Wisconsin vs. Stanford
This will be a great game. Two veteran quarterbacks leading power offenses for great teams. Normally these games turn into yawners as the PAC-12 runs circles around the slow Big 10. But this matchup has me drooling. Watching Wilson and Luck duel will be fantastic. On a side note THANK GOD we don't have Russel Wilson. I realize we never would have gotten him but I would have gladly taken NCAA sanctions to get that golden arm in here. Does anyone else think this offense is just consistent QB play away from being legit? Because I certainly do. But that is a rant for a different post which is coming. This game will most likely be Andrew Luck's Coronation. Unless he sneaks into the National Championship. Or decides to come back again...
Discover Orange Bowl ACC vs. At-Large (Big East)
Clemson vs. West Virginia
I guess it will be nice to see an ACC team that I do not despise win this game. I would love to never see a Big East team in a BCS game again. The ACC is doing a good job of collapsing that conference but it needs one more big blow. Like say… the Big Ten raiding for UConn or Rutgers. Make this happen. In this game I am seeing a Clemson defense shut down Geno Smith, who is not bad, and the rest of the West Virginia offense. Holgerson will eventually be able to win these games but I don't think he has the horses yet. He is probably hoping someone plucks West Virginia out of the Big East.

Alabama vs. Boise
This will be good. Real test for Boise. If they swing this they are legit. Unfortunately looks like they will be on the outside looking in again. At some point they will have a good enough season to sneak into the national championship. That’s a lie. Until they join a real conference they are going to keep getting screwed. PAC-16 needs to grab Boise. In other news Bama is going to lose their only game to LSU who looks amazing. They could probably beat the Chiefs, and the Colts, and probably the Rams too. This should be a good matchup. It’ll show how important quarterback play truly is in college football.
Poke State vs. Oregon
This has me super excited just thinking about it. If the Quack Attack can hold it together until LaMichael James comes back this will be a great game, especially if you like points. No matter what the total is bet the OVER. Shootout. I will be glued to this game if it happens. I also would love to see what the Ducks uniforms would look like This has the potential to be the badass uniform bowl. I love the new Oklahoma State uniforms. Almost as much as this logo, which I really wanted to integrate into this article somehow. This rivals the old school cavalier we used to have on the bad-ass meter.

LSU vs. Oklahoma
Aside from the potentially garbage Orange Bowl this may actually be the worst game. I love LSU as I stated before and since they somehow have learned to play offense this year this has all the makings of a SMACKDOWN. Plus it’s Bob Stoops in a big game. That being said it should be a good matchup. Let’s see how long the Sooners can keep up. My guess is not long.

Ranking those games in order I want to see goes like this:
1. Rose
2. Fiesta
3. BCS Championship
4. Sugar
5. Orange
The big games to watch this year that will make all this shake out is Stanford-Oregon(11/12), The Real National Championship (Bama-LSU,11/5), Bedlam (Oklahoma-Oklahoma State, 12/3), Clemson-GT (10/29).
