According to Twitter, the Wahoos are going to a much better bowl than we all were expecting. From CBS: BryanDFischer Bryan Fischer Virginia Tech to Sugar, Virginia to Chick-Fil-A.By embarrassing themselves in the ACC Championship, VaTech will end up in a better bowl than had they won the game. Go figure.
The Hoos most likely opponent: Defending-national-champ Auburn. Of course, projections obviously can be wrong - so all we know is that the team will be from the SEC.
This is a great opportunity for London & Co to play on a much bigger scene - not to mention taking home a few hundred thousand more dollars. While I was definitely hoping for another trip to Nashville, this would be a really nice get for a team expected to finish 5th in the Coastal division.
